We are currently looking for the best talent available for a Cisco Design Engineer with a proven track record. This Position is responsible for the design, delivery and support management of IP Telephony networks and systems within a leading financial services company located at our office in Melbourne.

Major Responsibilities:
Provides telecommunications design, performance engineering and architectural deployment management for large scale voice solutions.
Performs technical deployment leadership, solution audits, analysis and diagnosis of complex voice and contact center solutions.
Working with providers, builds simulated solutions in test labs to resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
Generates and documents reusable intellectual capital in the form of standard customer deployment architectures.
Leverages and contributes to virtual teams.
Assists business unit owners with advanced services requests and related IPT network management applications.
Provides backup and tier 3 technical support services.
Telecommunication vendor and carrier contract negotiation and management
Disaster recover and business continuity planning and design
Leverage and generate applicable technical “best practices” design guides.

Senior Lotus Domino Engineer - Brisbane

Support and management of hosted and remote customer IBM Lotus Domino environments plus other related messaging technologies and assocaited platforms. In addition to this the role will include a large amount of project work and delivery of customer facing consultancy engagements based around IBM / Lotus technoliogies.

You will provide support to the wider Customer Delivery Team, with the ongoing management and maintenance of the IBM Lotus Domino environments for managed customers. In addititon to this you will provide presales technical support to thes sales function and deliver IBM Lotus Domino consultancy and professional services.

Domino support duties including, fault finding and resolution, process and documentation maintainance.
Delivery of Lotus Notes/Domino consultancy and other related IBM Technologies.
Domino system design and documentation.
Domino technical input for the Sales function.
Customer service management.
Knowledge transference within the Customer Delivery Team.

Strong technical support / engineering background.
Previous experience in an IT Outsourcing / Service Provider environment.
Stong messaging and collaboration background.
4 years + enterprise support experience as a Lotus Domino administrator.
R6 and above CLP in Domino administration (PLCP prefered).
Demonstrable Domino clustering support experience.
Demonstrable Notes and SMTP mail support experience.
Demonstrable web server support experience.
Demonstrable system design and implementation experience.
Demonstrable upgrade experience (v6 to v7 or v7 to v8 etc).

Enterprise Infrastructure Architect - Sydney

1. Analyse business requirements and work with project teams to determine the elements of infrastructure required to provide a solution to the project requirements.
2. Research the potential impact of introducing new infrastructure technology into the environment and work with IT stakeholders to reach a decision on technology choices.
3. Collaborate with Application Designers to ensure that each infrastructure design has been fully considered for both application and infrastructure implications.
4. Produce required design deliverables according to project governance and system life cycle processes. Participate in formal reviews of these deliverables to gain approval for the proposed approach.
5. Collaborate with Systems Development and SD&O staff to ensure that design elements are capable of being further detailed and implemented in the company’s environment, and as required to obtain detailed technical expertise. Participate in ongoing project execution to ensure that the design remains accurate in light of unanticipated requirements or other scope changes.
6. Via approved projects, participate in build out and documentation of new technology by either performing actual work or manage 3rd Party or company operations (SME) resources.
7. Prove out emerging technologies in given technology by developing, running and documenting “Proof of Concepts”. These POC’s will feed into new standards. Work with Design Architects on defining POC deliverables and execution.
