Enterprise Infrastructure Architect - Sydney

1. Analyse business requirements and work with project teams to determine the elements of infrastructure required to provide a solution to the project requirements.
2. Research the potential impact of introducing new infrastructure technology into the environment and work with IT stakeholders to reach a decision on technology choices.
3. Collaborate with Application Designers to ensure that each infrastructure design has been fully considered for both application and infrastructure implications.
4. Produce required design deliverables according to project governance and system life cycle processes. Participate in formal reviews of these deliverables to gain approval for the proposed approach.
5. Collaborate with Systems Development and SD&O staff to ensure that design elements are capable of being further detailed and implemented in the company’s environment, and as required to obtain detailed technical expertise. Participate in ongoing project execution to ensure that the design remains accurate in light of unanticipated requirements or other scope changes.
6. Via approved projects, participate in build out and documentation of new technology by either performing actual work or manage 3rd Party or company operations (SME) resources.
7. Prove out emerging technologies in given technology by developing, running and documenting “Proof of Concepts”. These POC’s will feed into new standards. Work with Design Architects on defining POC deliverables and execution.
